Oben appoints senior manager to the team

Oben is delighted to announce the appointment of Mikie Tilbury as a senior manager in the firm’s regulatory practice.

Mikie has sixteen years’ financial regulatory compliance and operational risk experience within financial services businesses in Jersey and during this time has also held Key Person roles.


Prior to joining Oben, Mikie spent approximately five years at the Jersey Financial Services Commission as a Supervisor working within the Relationship Managed Supervision units covering fund services business, AIF services business, trust company business and investment business.


Alex Ruddy, a Director of Oben Regulatory, said, “Mikie is an experienced compliance professional and is highly regarded by many of our clients. We are delighted that he has joined us. Mikie’s experience while working at the JFSC, including working with the Group of International Finance Centre Supervisors, will be insightful for those who are subject to regulatory oversight in multiple jurisdictions.
